IQAC Workshop on IntroductiontoOutcome-basededucation:Teaching-learningandassessment

Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) organised a half-day Workshop on “Introduction to Outcome-based education: Teaching-learning and assessment” on January 18, 2024 at ITN Seminar Room, ARI-ITN Building (5th Floor), BUET. Respected faculty members from different Departments (Arch, BME, CSE, ChE, CE, EEE, IPE, MME, NAME, NCE, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics); of BUET, a total thirty one (31) participants actively participated in the event. The aim of the workshop was to provide participants with a good understanding on the Outcome-based education: Teaching-learning and assessment.

Prof. Dr. Kazi Bayzid Kabir, Director, IQAC, greeted all the participants at the beginning of the Workshop.The workshop was conducted by Professor Dr. A. S. Md. Abdul Haseeb, Head, Department of  NCE. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks from Prof. Dr. Kazi Bayzid Kabir, Director, IQAC.

This workshop was part of the ongoing activities of the IQAC, which started its journey in January 2015. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the performance of institutions. The IQAC works to ensure continuous improvement in the entire operations of the institution, and assure all the stakeholders connected with higher education, namely students, parents, teachers, staff, funding agencies and society in general.
