OBE Cell, IQAC, BUET organised the half day Training Course on “Familiarizing Students With Outcome Based Education” on 01 November, 2022 at Virtual Classroom (Room no: 705), ECE Building (7th Floor), BUET, Dhaka. 9 heads of different departments (Architecture, BME, CSE, Chemistry, EEE, Hum, Mathematics, NAME and WRE); 14 SAC chairs of different Departments (Architecture, BME, CE, CSE, Ch.E, Chemistry, Hum, IPE, ME, MME, Mathematics, NCE, Physics and URP) and 20 SAC members of different departments of BUET, a total Forty three (43) participants actively participated in the event. The aim of the training was to provide participants with a good understanding on the familiarization of students with Outcome Based Education.
Prof. Dr. Md. Saidur Rahman, Director, IQAC greeted all participants at the beginning of the Training Course. The training sessions were conducted by Dr. Md. Zunaid Baten, Additional Director, IQAC. The Training Course was ended by vote of thanks from Prof Dr. Md Ashikur Rahman Joarder, Additional Director, IQAC.
This Training Course was part of on-going activities of the IQAC which started its journey in January 2015. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the performance of institutions. The IQAC works to ensure continuous improvement in the entire operations of the institution, and assuring all the stakeholders connected with higher education: namely students, parents, teachers, staff, funding agencies and society in general.
